Mandarin Studies is a space to learn Mandarin, engage in discussion around language, culture, current events, and a movement to close the gap between the U.S. and China.｀
Mandarin lessons are offered in person or online, from beginner to advanced levels and for all ages. Nick’s lessons ensure a fast paced growth and enjoyable experience with Mandarin. His teaching method has proven to escalate students’ levels and confidence with the language through using his textbook alongside audios, media and apps.
As Nick lived in Asia for over 5 years, he also brings clients to China for an immersive experience with Mandarin and a chance to experience China firsthand. His clients learn Mandarin, eat authentic Chinese food, speak Mandarin with locals while traveling to some of his favorite parts of China: from international Shanghai to rural Yellow Mountain. This experience is open to all levels as immersive learning is a fast and effective approach for everybody.
Nick extends his teaching to actors as a dialect coach. He educates the actor the basics of Mandarin Chinese, provides phonetic translations and audios. Nick also works on set to assist with actor confidence and delivery. A few projects he has worked on include Arrival with Amy Adams and Season 5 of Jane the Virgin.
