A year and a half ago I had just moved to Los Angeles and I spoke at a conference for green and health minded bloggers called ShiftCon. The conference is all about online influencers shifting the conversation towards a saner, healthier economy (and I’m now on their board!). As part of this conference, there were some new brands exhibiting, and I met the team at Molly’s Suds.
Let’s get one thing straight, this laundry detergent WORKS! Molly’s Suds Laundry Powder works on everything from my hot yoga gear (which needs a DEEP clean) to my most delicate work shirts. They skip commonly used harmful ingredients like NPEs and solvents that are bad for the environment and our health. The formula is HE friendly and a little goes a long way, creating great value for us as consumers (the Laundry Powder bag lasts forever!).
A few months ago, the team at Molly’s Suds sent me their newer Oxygen Whitener. This powder can be used in the washing machine with your laundry powder, or it can be used in the bathtub as a pre-wash soak. If you want really white whites, I suggest the pre-soak option.
They also have a laundry detergent specially formulated for athletic gear: All Sport Liquid Laundry Wash. This liquid formula works wonders, especially on synthetic materials like performance gear. I will also add that I still primarily use their traditional laundry powder for my hot yoga clothes and mat since it’s so effective.

I may have to try this one. I have had zero luck with eco friendly detergents. They just don’t get the odor out of my workout clothes. Thanks for the info, I will keep my eye out for it!
